General FAQ
Q: Are your products safe?
A: Yes, all of our detergents are certified non-toxic and safe to breathe and touch. I wouldn't recommend drinking it straight up, but you can say that about any soap product. We do also have some stronger products for more persistent stains, but we will always consult with you first before using those.
Q: Do you work Sundays?
A: Totally. We work seven days a week. Even most holidays. Seriously.
Q: I live kind of far from you. How far do you travel?
A: We basically travel all over the city. David's gone as far as Oxnard once before. Basically anywhere in Los Angeles, West LA and the San Fernando Valley. Anything particularly far we'll prefer a weekend appointment; less traffic will make the appointment easier to accommodate.
Q: My dog just had an accident and I'd like to take care of it right away. Can you come right now?
A: We accommodate Same Day Appointments as often as possible. The availability is understandably different on a day to day basis. Some days we can easily swing over to your place, but understand if you're calling at 4:30 in the afternoon we may be able to take care of you but it's less likely. We'll always do our best to get somebody to you as soon as humanly possible.
Q: Can you guarantee the stains on my carpet, rugs and upholstery will come out?
A: Unfortunately we can't. No company can, really. There are too many factors involved. We always guarantee we'll try our absolute best, though.
Q: Which is better? Having my rug cleaned at home or at your warehouse?
A: Regardless of where we clean your rug, it will get the same deep and thorough non-toxic steam cleaning. The advantage to cleaning it at your home, obviously, is the fact that it's all said and done when we leave. Some people would just rather not deal with the noise and commotion of having their rug cleaned in their home, and specifically people who own wool rugs would rather not endure the smell of a wet animal in their home.
Q: How long should I stay off the carpet?
A: Oh, that's up to you. Again, everything we use is non-toxic, so you could walk on the carpet as soon as we're done. Yeah, it will be a little damp, but it's still safe. Just make sure your feet are clean, the wet carpet will be more susceptible to dirt.
Q: Can I just drop my rug off at your warehouse?
A: Yeah, if you want to do that. We don't charge extra to swing by your place to grab the rug, but feel free to stop by and do it yourself. Q: What store bought products do you recommend?
A: The only product we recommend is Folex. Anything else has the ability to discolor your carpet and honestly most of the time store bought products can make matters worse when it comes to pet stains. Always try to be liberal with products in these situations.
